Why this site exists

About

Most personal finance content in India falls into one of two camps: dense enough to need a CA to translate it, or a thinly-disguised pitch for whatever the writer is paid to promote.

WealthyGrove is an attempt at a third option. Write about tax, savings, and investing the way you'd explain it to a friend who's smart but has never had a reason to learn the jargon. Plain language first. Sources and specifics included, not hand-waved. Product recommendations only when they're actually the tool being used, clearly marked when there's a financial relationship behind the mention.

What you'll find here

Right now, that means articles: practical breakdowns of specific decisions, like which tax-saving instrument fits your timeline, how to build a first emergency fund, how to think about a SIP versus a lump sum. Over time, the plan is to build this into something more useful than a list of articles. Tools you can actually run your own numbers through.

Who's behind this

WealthyGrove isn't run by a financial advisory firm or a media company. It's built by someone who spent about a decade in IT and picked up personal finance on the side. Not as a job, just because taxes, savings, and investing turned out to be genuinely interesting once someone explained them properly. And expensive to get wrong when nobody did.

That's the idea behind this site: write down what would have saved time and money if someone had explained it clearly the first time, in case it saves someone else the same trouble.

What you won't find

Sponsored posts dressed up as advice, product rankings decided by commission size, or advice that assumes you have money to spare. If a recommendation appears here, it's because it's a genuine, reasonable option. And if money changes hands when you use it, that's disclosed plainly on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
